my iphone is on 3G and wifi, with my stereo bluetooth connected, and that lasts the day.

so, my n900 barely lasts 10 hrs on 1 charge. i thought "hey, maybe it's b/c i had widgets x, y, z running" so i wiped everything and started from scratch (PR1.2), yet i still have the poor battery...

i can't speak for python, but C++ will probably jump start your programming career, since an object-oriented programming language will facilitate learning java, vb.net, c#, etc.

FWIW . . . i got stuck on that "1 second left" in NSU as well, after waiting an hour i unplugged the USB cable, took battery out, put battery back in, plugged USB cable back in, and NSU continued,...
