Sure guys I won't bother, I just thought that the device needs something a battery re-calibration, I had similar issues with past devices , usually after f/w upgrades the battery indicator went nuts....

I understand, but the battery is not that bad, I can use it about 3-4hours continuous use of the N800, wifi/BT both on (BT connected to BT keyboard).

oh darn.. I hate stripped screws, did you try the superglue method? Just a bit of superglue on the screw's head then set the screwdriver into the screw head and wait the glue to dry, other option...

bah, there is no "turbo" on the results from uname, but I am pretty sure the DT installed correctly as :
* I can see the /boot/ has only the zImage-sd-preempt-256HZ

I think its from design, not a "pattern" in fact, like some broken gfx that scrolls from the bottom to the top, before the ASUI screen appear.
Anyway, I did a re-install of it and played some time...

well, you can't believe it : problematic adaptor tip! I moved it a little and noticed that battery did not even went to charge mode!
I am using another adapter now :)...
