Thanks for the answers. I have in the past always updated OTA, the reason i didn't this time was because it didn't seem to want to let me... said i HAD to use the pc suite!

Anyone found a way to recover your hard work yet?

Although i'd be happy to replay such a great game especially as there is no new levels on the horizon, i worked my *** off...

N900 faulty screen

heres my problem:

my screen is blank and displays nothing when shut or open (keyboard). however half open it works.....sort of. as you push up the screen it appears at its dimmest level ie no back...

Me too. The only thing i've done though is let the psfreedom gui program do the update. maybe this is the problem? help. had it working. Not now.

Because you probably didnt put one on a memory stick and plug it in?

Same as you can't play/back up a game unless you put a disc in. It can't magic them out of no where.

I scrolled to the bottom for you and its a language selection. It reads:

English Deutsch Francais.....a couple with symbols i don't have on my keyboard.. then...

Push down on your stick to highlight the game and press the 'O' button.

I can't seem to backup to internal though myself. I press yes backup to internal and it boots me back to the option screen.

Ok got this going now ... sort of.

Its letting backup to external but wouldnt let me to internal.....

Any idea why?

Using motorstorm only 15gb got 30gb free on internal.

Clearly im pretty thick but........

Installed rootsh and openssh.

Opened the n900 on the pc in mass storage mode and copied the 3 files to the root folder.

Went to x terminal and typed what...
