rename them .yourEvilName.vid

its all about the . in the beginning....

to make them visible agin you would have to change visibility settings in your file browser(dont know how) or use firefox...

ZAGG body armor + ClearProtector screen protector
Seems like the best method to me.
A body that adds rubbery feel, so your N900 wont slip of your hands,...

Only uncertainity: between the two bolds, the wifi bug could have affected battery life. Apart from that, 46% does not seem to be espeacially bad with connections at least every 2-5min.

Application settings usually are kept in "/home/usrname/.appname" -->> on the 32GB Memory.
Consequently, they wont gest lost in the reflashing process.

Das o2-Netz ist in nahezu allen städten und auch auf dem land nicht selten verfügbar.
e-plus (Aldi etc.) kann man außer in städten meißt vergessen. (EDIT: EDGE geht natürlich!)

Apart from the bold passages, the use is moderate.
VOIP calls are said to be energy hogs.
Did you Skype-Call with 3G or WiFi?

I'm going to test the N900 with my Westone UM1 ($150 in past times, now $109) [and my AKG K240S ($160 in past times, now discontinued)], when it finally arrives.... of course with FLAC or HQ Vorbis....
