Re: Hi and Bye

vpnc on Maemo is actually pretty nice.
And I don't hate N900. I actually love it. If I did not have to use it in corporate environment I would have kept it. I am just disappointed, because it is...

Not to mention Quake3 ;-)
But what good is Q3 on my phone if I the most important function that I need (Exchange) doesn't...

Re: Mail for Exchange (MfE). Blame me here, pls

Our IT requires provisioning and I just verified that N900 doesn't work in our wireless LAN as well (802.11x +PEAP/MSCHAPV2 and WEP). It is back to...

Re: Mail for Exchange (MfE). Blame me here, pls

AFAIK it is not possible to to export the personal certificate from the device as it is a security issue. If someone could do that he/she could install it on another device and impersonate you.

If...

This is the same error I am getting when trying to use N900.

The company I work for uses client certificates for WinMo devices. When I setup initial sync...

Re: Pidgin always sets itself to "Away"

Well, it seems Pidgin 2.4.3 does not work anymore with ICQ.
Is anyone maintaining Pidgin for Maemo? The upstream version is already at 2.5.5!

Re: Mer v0.9 released

Re: Mer v0.9 released

I have installed Mer 0.9 on my N810 and it looks good. I have installed LXDE and it works quite OK. It seems little snappier than Ubuntu.
Several notes:
- keyboard seems to be broken, enter does...

Re: Ubuntu Jaunty for the N810/N800

It says it tries to load linuxrc and then it just reboots after a while.

mmkay, got it. mmcblk0 is not mmcblk0...

Re: Ubuntu Jaunty for the N810/N800

Wiped out Fanoush bootmenu and installed Mer bootmenu, I think it may be more friendly to Ubuntu.
Trying to install Mer now, just for fun ;-)...

I have both internal and external MMC formatted to ext3, and 256MB swap partition on internal MMC as well, so I have uncompressed the...
