Re: Hi and Bye

Maybe Maemo devs could use wpa_supplicant instead of...

Re: Hi and Bye

Re: Mail for Exchange (MfE). Blame me here, pls

I'm returning mine to Amazon.
Our IT requires provisioning and I just verified that N900 doesn't work in our wireless LAN as well (802.11x +PEAP/MSCHAPV2 and WEP). It is back to...

Hi and Bye
Hello everyone,
I have had N810 with Maemo and Mer for a while, then upgraded to Aigo MID.
Recently my Samsung Epix that I have used for work got on my nerves (hangs etc) so I decided it is time...

Re: Mail for Exchange (MfE). Blame me here, pls
AFAIK it is not possible to to export the personal certificate from the device as it is a security issue. If someone could do that he/she could install it on another device and impersonate you.
If...

Re: Mail for Exchange (MfE). Blame me here, pls

This is the same error I am getting when trying to use N900.
The company I work for uses client certificates for WinMo devices. When I setup initial sync...

Re: Mer v0.9 released
It looks like the keyboard problem is newer xkb-data from Ubuntu overwriting xkb-data from Mer. Manual package install fixed it for me in Mer-0.9 and Mer-0.10 image I got from stskeeps has got it...

Re: Mer v0.9 released
I have installed Mer 0.9 on my N810 and it looks good. I have installed LXDE and it works quite OK. It seems little snappier than Ubuntu.
Several notes:
- keyboard seems to be broken, enter does...

Re: Ubuntu Jaunty for the N810/N800
Well, it seems no matter if I try to boot Mer or Ubuntu, from Mer bootmenu it fails.
It says it tries to load linuxrc and then it just reboots after a while.
mmkay, got it. mmcblk0 is not mmcblk0...

Re: Ubuntu Jaunty for the N810/N800
Well, I have got the Mer installer and Mer bootmenu.
Wiped out Fanoush bootmenu and installed Mer bootmenu, I think it may be more friendly to Ubuntu.
Trying to install Mer now, just for fun ;-)...

Re: Ubuntu Jaunty for the N810/N800
Hey, is there any way to boot this rootfs with Fanoush bootmenu?
I have both internal and external MMC formatted to ext3, and 256MB swap partition on internal MMC as well, so I have uncompressed the...
