Re: Maintainer request for xxx
I know what packages i once maintained.
I simply didn't know what page this email was referring to. E.g. some garage page or the like.
Anyway, thank!

Re: [Request] Geocaching for N9
That's one of the things confusing many people. Although both maps are named "ovi maps" they are completely differnt things. Nokia didn't manage to give the map service of its qt framework access to...

Re: [Request] Geocaching for N9
Oh, wow ... i tried it and it is indeed much more useful than i expected it to be. Great!
There are two issues with Harmattan which also arise under Symbian and which i therefore had to implement...

Re: [ANNOUNCE] Qt Mobility 1.2 for Fremantle
You didn't make a mistake. The way the packages work is just broken. Solution: Update all libqtm-12-(contacts, location, whatever, ...) packages manually beforhand and then libqtm-12 itself...

Re: [ANNOUNCE] Qt Mobility 1.2 for Fremantle
Hmmm, seems more broken. The current CacheMe in extras-devel was compiled using the current autobuilder. The resulting binary doesn't work on the device since this unresolved symbol:
cacheme:...

A dependency on liblocation seems to be missing. Any wow ... the rpatjhs look impressively broken :-)

Re: [Request] Geocaching for N9
The N9 has such a small audience that you should really try to join forces. Now that AGTL has official N9 support, i'd really recommend that you spend your time there and forget about the ugly...

Re: [Request] Geocaching for N9
I really don't care about the harmattan version and you are free to distribute it however you want.
This of course applies to anybody else, so if you charge money, someone else may just upload the...

Hi,
the issue is that i have started to sell the symbian version via the OVI store. Putting all the code developed so far under the GPL would allow anyone to upload a free version to OVI as well...

Re: [Request] Geocaching for N9
Don't spend too much time on this. Harmattan is just not meant to run plain Qt apps.
AGTL is really a very similar program and if it works nicely under Harmattan i really don't see a reason to...

Re: qt mobility 1.1
Developers can get it from the extras-devel repository. It's not available to end users (and probably never will on maemo).

Sounds trivial, eh? I have been doing that for nearly a year. This is currently paused (as most other adaptations are) since MeeGo/Arm switched to so the so called hardfp and all the closed source...

Re: Develop app on 950 then what?
C'mon, it's really not that difficult. The company leaders are now officially bound to wp7. They wouldn't be able to promote MeeGo fully even if they wanted. That's why you don't hear much positive...

Re: qtm stable version
You need ot use the old qtmobility-1.0 packages that are in the main repositories.
It doesn't look like qtm-11 and qtm-12 will ever reach a stable state on maemo5, so you should avoid them if you...
