I have tried my friend's 770 and when I unselect some items in Control Panel, they would disappear when I save the configuration.
But I just counld save any changes on my device...weird...

I am having an N770 with latest OS2007HE.
I also "boot from MMC"'ed it.

Since I would not like the "sound" and "display" icons to be displayed on my status bar, I went to Tools -> Control Panel...

When I uncheck some items(display, sound, etc,.) and hit save, it simply would not save. When I open up the "Navigation" again, those items are still checked there.
Any ideas?

But I was not able to install the "wpeditor" due to some "incompatable" issue...

This is a cool idea. I was thinking about the same thing.
But will the system files be affected when the card is in the digital camera and photoes being written into the MMC card?
