Re: Minimum Spec for MeeGo 1.2+ devices confirmed

People always move around (in real life and with their flavor of phone OS) they also come around back to the roots and no other major phone OS has the easiest path to root than Maemo/Meego ;)

Re: Dual sim card adapter for N900

Magic Sim 26th Cut version. It's simply switches between the two SIMs. Your phone will go offline before each switch and only one SIM will be active at any given time.

Re: Dual sim card adapter for N900

Hi,

1. I have both 3G SIMS, fits nicely, needed some work to trim the edges for a perfect fit.
2. Needed an old phone (Nokia in this case) to access the SIM toolkit menu to configure the 007 mode...

Re: Dual sim card adapter for N900

Ya, they never answer emails. I was about to cancel the PayPal transaction, but waited the usual 21 days before snail mail arrives before complaining. And it did arrive in a simple envelope :)

Re: Dual sim card adapter for N900

Re: N900 and SDHC UHS-I?

I don't think they would be compatible, on the other hand, UHS-I can accept older SDHC format. http://www.sdcard.org/developers/tech/speed_class

Re: Ovi Suite 2.2.0.245 supports N900

I don't know for sure, but if they develop Ovi Suite with Qt, then I see no reason why it won't be available for Linux.

Re: n900 3g dual sim adapter

We can't connect to two operators or even a single operator with dual sims active(registered) simultaneously. You would need two radios for that. N900 has only 1. But switchable dual sim is useful...

Re: iPhone 4 - Loses Reception When You Touch the Side (Who says Apple products are "Better Quality"?)

Apparently the users are holding it wrong. Makes me think what went so wrong @ Apple to actually make a product that needs a manual on how to hold the damn thing.

Re: Official N9 ad

Call me crazy... ever wonder what would happen if Nokia gave the option of running both/either Meego or Symbian on their flagships right out of the box? I know it's going to be a CS nightmare, but...

Re: Spoof Caller ID

It won't work on all the networks, since a lot of the networks determine the CID from within the network (probably utilizing the SIM card) and would always ignore any data sent from the mobile.
