i just installed scummvm and indeed the mouse is working there with the left thumbstick. this lead me to thinking that maybe mouse emulation in ioquake has...

the "on" state could be used as soon as the thumbstick leaves the deadzone. simple workaround :)

well if you say that analog axe emulate mouse movements.. then why it doesn't work in game, where...

I'm able to use sixaxis on N900 nearly without a problem, I even added support for thumbstick buttons that were not included on default. However, I can't get to work the left and right...
