Lightbulb Moving AlienDalvik to a Linux Desktop

As I am phasing out one of my Sailfish phones, I am curious if I couldn't continue to use the AlienDalvik on a PC (or some device with an ARM architecture like a RPi).

Has anyone accomplished...

It says "cannot start" in the Android App Support settings page. I can hit "Start", then...

Isn't the install procedure basically the same for either CM12 and CM13, so that it would just be a minor change in the docs once CM13 variant is working fine?

When simply disabling developer mode, most of the apps disappear.

Then the phone can only be force-shut down (pressing power-off for several seconds). Afterwards it won't start again. A re-flash...
