Mer Installation Problem on n800.
I tried to install Mer on my n800. I followed all the instructions up to where it says press enter to reboot. The n800 rebooted and showed the blue nokia screen for 7 seconds and then shut off again....

That's another weird thing. The working keyboard is old - maybe 8 years. And the 2 non working keyboards are both really new.

The reboot didn't help. The bulky keyboard and the 50 mA keyboard are simple Compaq ones that came with desktop computer. And the 75 mA also came with a desktop computer and it's a Dell.

I think I just found an answer to the "Pronounce Maemo" thread (http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=2994). According to the flite guy, it's "mul-o" with a very very light emphasis on the 'L'.

I never really liked kagu, and canola gives you all the media options. When I changed the.atabake file I used emelfm2. I think that's easier than using xterm. A2dp audio can sometimes not be smooth...

You might want to get a new battery then. My used internet tablet was only giving me 1 hour of use but I bought a new battery and it gave me the normal 3+ hours of use.
