Re: N8x0's in 2019!

Alas, my n810 has separated into two pieces, although it still runs if held together by a rubber band.

I still remember when I first read the ads for the N810 ten years ago -- the Nokia Internet...

Re: Do you still use n8x0 in 2015 ? How ?

My daughter uses it for playing music in her room and taking notes. Alas, it's starting to come apart. We have a rubber band wrapped around it to keep the top & bottom halves together. :-)

Re: "The Buffalo Fiasco" Intiative (wow... that sounds cooler than I intended)

Endsormeans, I apologize that I didn't read your full posts. But one possible approach to the issue of extracting info from tmo would be to create Q&A pages in the wiki with a common problem or...

Re: Jolla Sailfish Is stunning! Now on video!

I gave up on thinking there was a correct pronunciation for Asus when I saw a video created for the sole purpose of setting the record straight that had the proper pronunciation written on a white...

Re: Warning: Mugen batteries for N810

Is there a better option? Is there another option at al besides buying Nokia branded batteries and hoping that it really is Nokia?

(BTW, I haven't had any problems with Mugen... other than the...

Re: Add drives to the web file manager?

Wouldn't you need either an app from that vendor or at least an open API? Seems like you're stuck without cooperation from DropBox, Box.net, or whatever.

Re: youtube.com/xl

Thanks, Addison. I updated the wiki doc. I suspect that info will come in handy for me as well.

Re: Dialcentral 1.0

Just to clarify, I was talking about the N8x0, not the N900. That's where the file was for me. If that's not where it was for you, you might try searching for similar files or just searching for the...

Re: Dialcentral 1.0

Thanks, Addison, that was a big help. I got past that error by typing this into the terminal:

(I'm using LeafPad as my text editor.)...

I fired up DC the other day on my N810 and it failed to log into Google Voice ("not accessible"). Is anyone else having this problem?

Re: youtube.com/xl

Hi, eurekus! Welcome to the forum. Have fun with your N810.

Thanks for the YouTube XL link. I added it to the "Useful Mobile URLs" wiki page (see link in my signature).

Re: ANNOUNCE: Diablo-Turbo first beta available

Sorry for the dreadfully late response, but no -- I don't have ASUI. But I haven't had these problems for some time (maybe because I finally replaced the battery), so no worries. :)

Have you installed EasyDebian, and did you use that to install IceWM? If so, you could try posting your question on an EasyDebian thread.

Re: Osso File Manager no longer sees Windows shares

Re: An N800 Die-Hard

Yeah, that would probably be my next move (probably with CyanogenMod). But I hope I'll never actually have to replace my N810. ;-)
