Don't let the N800 use the entire card as extended memory. Maybe as much as 100MB, but no more, the 800 has a reasonable amount of RAM, and using the card will only keep some apps from crashing...

GMAIL is the only one that works very well, in my experience. Google docs and spreadsheets doesn't work at all, and google calendar is not terribly useful... Google reader sorta works, but not well...

Barcode reading with "webcams" is doable (see the Mac app Delicious Monster) but the image has to be pretty good... A lot of codes (particularly 2d codes) are built so that they can be scanned even...

I like it as well... i won't use it all the time, but every once in a while I'll find this REALLY useful when I'm stranded in a hotel with nothing good on tv, and no radio and I can listen to NPR......

I had this exact problem. My connection manager never even shows IPs for my previous network... Minimo and GAIM work fine... But that's not a great fix.
