Re: [Announce] Maebble - Pebble support for Maemo

I "fixed" the unicode problem by just hard coding the variable in the script config_file = "maebble.cfg"

Or maybe it was
config_file = r"maebble.cfg"

Re: The new QWERTY device project

I probably should have been more specific- rather than screen size I meant more phone size- if you can fit the same 4"+ screen in the same dimensions of older <4" phones then sure.

The problem is...

And loads of disadvantages:
Bigger screen = more power usage
Inconvenient for pockets, especially shirt pockets

We (I) want a phone, not a tablet. Between 3.5-4 is the sweet spot in my opinion.

Re: Pebble Bluetooth Watch App for N900 or N9?

No idea, I haven't used any on mine lol. I thought I would use it for heaps, but end up just using it as a watch and music control for my phone. I work outdoors, so it's nice to be able to pause/play...

Re: Getting batteries for N900 in 2016?

I'm only using the Mugen back case. Using an LG 2610mAh battery. The way I have it attached, there's no pressure on the sim slot/any part of the phone. Packaging peanuts are there to stop the...

Re: Getting batteries for N900 in 2016?

Does Nokia still make them "new"? Or are they all old stock?

Having trouble figuring out which ones out there are old batteries or new ones (or generics)

Anyone have a guide on cloning all the repos for local use?

Sick of trying to find out which ones are working, to get 10kb/s speeds with.

Anyone have instructions on cloning all the repos locally so I can throw them onto my own server?

Re: N900 daily Work in 2017?

Anyone know how to get rtmpsink gstreamer plugin working?

I've tried installing so many gstreamer plugin debs, it should be under plugins-bad (not sure what version it was introduced, though).

Anyone done it?

Re: talk.maemo.org certificate expired!

Yeah happened to me too. Thought it was just firefox being stupid. Everything was fine, refreshed the page 10 minutes later and it was complaining.
