Re: Maemo Mapper v2.5 - Layered Maps

Hello.

I'm getting a segfault when trying to use a specific URL with maemo mapper. I want to use a map service that maemo mapper doesn't support, so I wrote my own "WMS Service" script that takes...

Re: On the fly encoding and streaming movies to N8x0 using netcat and mencoder/mplaye

Edited the first post. Fixed the bug where mencoder freezes when the movie is ended prematurely, however this comes at the disadvantage of having to run killall -9 mencoder after the playback is...

Re: Wizard Mounter v. 1.0 RELEASED!

It will not work on diablo, those kernel modules are not compiled for the same kernel that is in diablo, even if the package installed you wouldn't be able to load them.

Re: On the fly encoding and streaming movies to N8x0 using netcat and mencoder/mplaye

Ah. Thanks for enlightening me.

But still, the dsize filter is very nice for scaling video with mencoder, even if you don't add the black borders. And other mencoder filters are nice too. I still...

Re: On the fly encoding and streaming movies to N8x0 using netcat and mencoder/mplaye

Sure, that works too. But I prefer this way as it doesn't require me to install anything I don't already have, doesn't require me to run a daemon on my desktop comp at all times that keeps track of...

On the fly encoding and streaming movies to N8x0 using netcat and mencoder/mplayer

I like to watch a tv series episode in bed on my N800 before I go to sleep. But I got tired of every time having to wait, first while the movie encodes, then while copying to a SD card. So I figured...

Re: [announce] aircrack-ng: latest, svn, full set of tools.

Hmm.. seems the resetwifi thing didn't work. It crashed the pda, so it had to be rebooted.

Re: [announce] aircrack-ng: latest, svn, full set of tools.

That will probably do it. Have to edit it to 2.6.21 instead of 2.6.18 kernel, but thats simple. Thanks.

Now for the next problem :)

I'm trying to use a GPS with kismet, it gives this error:...

Re: [announce] aircrack-ng: latest, svn, full set of tools.

Found one for 2008 by doing some URL guessing with the 2007 one. Thanks anyway.

Now I tried the kismet linked from this thread and it works fine, but I can't get wireless to work again after...

Re: [announce] aircrack-ng: latest, svn, full set of tools.

I tried this package (the aircrack one, not the kismet one) but when I run one of the tools all I get is this message "Wireless tools not found".

Anyone know where you can get wireless-tools for...

Re: How to put OS2008 on N800.... now!

Since this post is full of dupes from the other huge thread that no one will have the time to look trought to find the right info, I might as well post my info here too.

How to get a valid mac...

Re: 2008 OS Release Date????

How to get a valid mac adress to put for the validation.

Pick a random number between 126409750144 and 126409842879. (those numbers are in decimal, not hexadecimal). Then google for "convert...

Re: Maemo Mapper v2.0.4 Released

Re: Maemo Mapper v2.0

I'm experiencing the same hourglass problem as loki, and I found two other bugs as well: When you zoom all the way out to level 20 the map will be smaller than the screen, so if you go to manage maps...

Re: Maemo Mapper v2.0

More closer zoom levels would be great, re-downloading is not a big deal. Another nice thing would be if you for each repo had check boxes for each zoom level, like it is on the download map screen,...

Re: Maemo Mapper v2.0

I'm wondering about this as well, one repository I use can go closer, and I wouldn't mind having two additional closer zoom levels to take advantage of it.

Re: Plans for Maemo Mapper v2.0

I was planning on going for a long walk tomorrow afternoon, any chance that the release will be available before then? Would be a nice opportunity to give the new version a try.
