OK, I'm progressing, the code was 1234. (I'd already tried 0000,1111, 2222, 3333 etc through to 9999. Hadn't thought of 1234) Thanks.

Hope I'm not askng a dumb question but how are you pairing with your dongle?
The N900 can find my ELM327 but when I tell it to pair it suggest a 4 digit code which there is no way of keying into...

Till now I've been using windows so I created an Ubuntu boot disk (usb) and tried again running...

Hi all
I have an error message while flashing the rootfs on my N900. Using RX-51_2009SE_20.2010.36-2_PR_MR0
Flasher starts ok, but gets to "Flashing cmt-mcusw" and says
