After about 10 poweroff/poweron cycles, I could then no longer get it to power on. Attempts to connect USB would fail with 'device failure' on the PC. Connecting charger would always show the charge...

Yet another infinite reboot loop since reflashing yesterday, but I can now eliminate VNC Viewer since it was not installed. What was installed:-

FunkyFreddy - you have redirected your Maps to be stored on the External MMC card, right? I can see how Maemomapper (default config) will consume internal memory when downloading maps. Check earlier...

So update on the 770 hitting the infinite reboot loop, requiring a reflash to gain normal operation (8th time already in 2 weeks).
Managed to get it to fail with latest 3.2006.49-2 fresh installed,...

So we're talking Maps>Manage Repositories>Cache Dir /media/mmc1/Maps/Google street

I've found you need to selectively disable certain repositories to be able to see apps in others...still a mystery...
