Re: TOHKBD rev2

Sorry if this has already been covered, but I just installed the latest version from Jolla store. Layout switching works, but ['; instead of едц on the scandic layout and similar with the german...

Re: TOHKBD rev2

Got mine this morning and i thought I'd add my experience sofar, to balance the discussion.
There are some very minor software issues that I assumme will be fixed soon.
Hardware-wise, I love it!...

Re: TOHKBD rev2

Before everyone gets too carried away with colour choices, let me just tell you all that I have a simple LEGO-OH that flypig (http://www.flypig.co.uk/toh/specials.html#blocks) designed. It's really...

Re: TOHKBD rev2

Mu-metal only shields low frequency magnetic fields, plus they should only be as big (maybe slightly bigger) as the magnets that are blocking a bit anyway.
So I'm pretty sure it will not make a...

Re: TOHKBD rev2

An epoxy adhesive like Scotch-Weld 2216 will definitely last. It makes a flexible and very strong bond. Used on the Space Shuttle :P

But as I said; if you don't like the idea, I put my vote on...

Re: TOHKBD rev2

Personally I vote for 1mm thinner!

Although, I'm not sure if having bare magnets on the backside will attract random metal objects nearby. Every once in a while you'd have to brush staple pins and...

Re: [WIP] Building OtherHalf keyboard prototype --fast times!

The Droid keyboard seems good enough, but not perfect.
If the small size means the camera can work (as pointed out earlier), then awesome!

Otherwise there are other Motorola keyboards that are...

Re: Building OtherHalf keyboard prototype --exciting times! last call to jump in and help!

Great progress!
I would humbly suggest waiting a bit with a larger batch and perhaps build it around another keyboard than the N900. Since the Jolla is larger, a fourth row of keys makes a lot of...

Great work!
Dirkvl, I've got €30 heading your way.

I'm probably not the only one, but I do have a 3D-printer and limited modelling skills so when you're at the prototyping stage I can lend a hand.

Re: how to connect eduroam on n900

DIY USB unisex adapter (Host and regular).

Hi

I got sick of having two cables, one for connecting to PC and one for host-mode.
So I made a unisex cable, meaning it works as a male and female at the same time, plus it is small enough to...

Re: Preenv webOS games compatibility list

This worked, but with choppy sound. Still playable, but strange that it runs smootly from terminal with:
preenv
./gepro

Any solution available?

Thanks!

I have eduroam working, but it won't autoconnect.
While searching this problem, I found this (https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3399#c49).

Can anyone with more compiling-skills please...
