to all of you complaining about device hangs, it was issues with hildon-home/hildon-desktop hogging cpu/mem and battery on my device. these are two different issues and there are plenty of posts...

Got laptop bluetooth working. Had to boot into winxp, enable bt via dell's quickset, shutdown, and boot back into ubuntu then all is well. Think I may need a little more direction with mic --> pusle...

well it seems bluetooth on my handset is dead. I was going to attempt a quick ugly setup but I can't even get it to pair with my laptop for testing let alone the ps3. I have never paired with any...

With my unit it is definitely related to sunlight. I viewed the proximity state change via 'cat /sys/devices/platform/gpio-switch/proximity/state' when exposed to natural sunlight. Not direct...
