Re: Spotted, other N900 users....

I watched a report on German TV ("Stern TV" on RTL) last night showing the former German spokesman of wikileaks.org Daniel Domscheit-Berg, a.k.a. Daniel Schmitt was using a N900. Just in case someone...

Re: is this cpu usage normal? screenshot...

I did also notice this the last couple of weeks (after upgrade to PR 1.2). I first thought it's been because my son recorded a video which brought up a status message like "Memory full". But even...

Re: How will meego pull it off

And there's a point to nail it to.

How the hell do you think you get good developers when the rules are changed quicker than the first lines of code are writen? Nokia's been warping through...

Re: FIFA Schedule suddenly installed by itself?

Hmm, if this alleged bug proves to be true - especially with the SMS-privacy breach in mind - I might consider not using the N900 anymore.
So far I tried to avoid buying a iPhone or Android(Google)...

Re: Mail for Exchange (MfE). Blame me here, pls

To speed things up a bit I suggest you post your device's Activesync logs here. A short Howto you'll find in the MfE Heartbeat here on the wiki. Don't forget to blank-out your personal credentials...

Re: Mail for Exchange (MfE). Blame me here, pls

You're welcome. Just trying to help...

As I wrote above I do not have experience with MS Exchange servers at all. But I do remember that MfE didn't work on Exchange 2003 with factory-new firmware....

Re: Mail for Exchange (MfE). Blame me here, pls

I had the very same problem when upgrading to PR1.2. Only difference is that I am on a Scalix Server instead of Exchange. In technical terms this means I have to use the sync protocol (EAS) pre-set...

Re: Mail for Exchange (MfE). Blame me here, pls

@Juhnu

Maybe it's a time-out issue. Vitaly told me to try the following at least for testing purposes.

If MfE account is not configured yet, when MfE wizard is started, somewhere between...

Re: N900 Anti-theft Project

OK, I'm not the brainiest mug in terms of linux OS or possible back-traps in my thoughts, but:

As of my opinion I don't see the need of a 2-way server/client solution. Wouldn't you want to keep it...

Re: Mail for Exchange (MfE). Blame me here, pls

Guys, I'm about to throw the N900 out the window...

After finally managing to get MfE up and running with my Scalix Server on PR 1.1.1 working pretty much ok in the last coupla months now...

Re: BurgerFace: Face tracking in a game

Johannes, do I get it right that your version of Johnny Lee's 3D-tracking is working without any IR-led'ed-goggles at all rather than face-recognition alone?

Perfect work! Gfällt mir!

Re: Do you leave your 3g connection on?

I don't use any "always-on" applications. But I do use the auto-disconnect plug-in to save battery. Works pretty well for me.

Re: iPad? Doesn't that require great pockets?

Blow up the N900 the same way they did with the iPhone - now guess again what powerful (and yet even easier to control) device it'd be...

Ok, it'd still would need big pockets though ;-)

Maybe PR1.2 will even bring this feature out the box. Let's see...

Re: [Idea] Involving Loud Speaker during a call.

What I wanted to say was that the logic needs to be a bit more tweaked than plainly: PS covered when ringing = answer the call.
There'd be more logical steps (PS status) to check before automatic...
