I used both MC and your LS command but this directory is not created in /home/user

Maybe this is the problem of the Widget not appearing?

No, that did not work.

After rebooting, the widgets still do not show up.

I have a similar problem with 0.7. As soon as I add the ConnectNow widget to the destop, it shows for only 1 sec, the page refreshes and then the ConnectNow widget disappears including all the other...
