I called up nokia and asked them how to set my device to factory settings, then he said go to the applications tab>Settings> Control Panel> Then click the button with the one big line and three...

Since i did not make a backup, the Nokia instructer said i should not. So i lost all of the information on the device, i would like to know how to get the maps and other folders back onto the device....

The first problem is that i had to reset it, and the nokia instructer. So i did it, and the process deleted most of the programs that came with the Nokia n810 by itself. Is their a way to get those...

Thanks for the help, one last question. Do i put these folders in the main directory?

Or do i put the "music" "videos" folder under the folder named "Maps" or ".apt-archive-cache" ?

Yes it does, i would now like to know how to put it on my device. If you need a software to vput you're files from you're PC > device. Could you tell me where to get it.
