I paid $299 canadian for the Archos 5 IMT 120, $30 for the mini dock and $40 for the codecs I wanted (totally pissed that Archos charges for mpg2\vob and h.264 codecs) but damn does this thing work...

I just saw the pricing on the 900 ... Ouch! 550 euros! I live in Canada and it converts to $853 cdn. That is not on! They are going to have definitely rethink that pricing. BTW.. I'm drafting...

I have to admit, for the price, the HP Pavilion tx2110us is a brilliant machine and I saw someone at 2nd cup the other day with one. Very very nice looking unit however given that I paid 508 taxes...

Took a bus on Monday. (Victoria Day here in Canada).
Comfortable ride.
Not a long ride.
Got off the bus at the stop just 50 yards from my home.
Walked and whistled.
Arrived home and was hungry....

I don't think so. I think ORB checks the bandwidth between you (Home PC) and ORB and I believe that is what dictates what quality stream you get on your remote client no matter what remote client...

BTW Video via rDesktop or VNC is a non-starter. FPS on rDesktop is maybe 8-10 if your on a inside network. If your on an outside network then your probably lucky to get 5-8 fps.

No sound with rdesktop or VNC(also, I've not seen a VNC build for OS 2008 Chinook; doesn't mean it's not available, just not seen it.).
It seems to me that you want to run video on your N800...
