Re: Can't flash Diablo on N800

Follow-up. I'm restoring various applications, and mytube keeps failing. When I drop to root to try apt-get install mytube, I get some interesting error messages:

I got all set to move from Chinook to Diablo, downloaded the latest image, and did the following.

1. Plugged in the Internet Tablet (N800) but turned it off.

2. Typed from the same Linux...

I saw that the emacs package included aspell
(http://danielsz.freeshell.org/code/mine/emacs-for-maemo/ - then under spell check), so I downloaded that and installed it. Then I went to...

Re: Hotsync stopped working

I assume you're trying to sync to Evolution, and that you have the pilot-applet on your panel. I've had hit-or-miss luck with that, and sometimes have to do the following: first, right click on the...

Re: Access Releases Garnet VM Beta 2

Works for me! Full size screen, oriented like a Palm, the addition of the To Do List, and the ability to store (through Xterm, with /usr/bin/gvm/gvm --hotsyncid="Sync Name") the ID info. A winner!

A recent Guardian article tried to track down the company, and there's a lot that's shady about them. Although they registered a website in 2000, there has never been anything about them on the web...

Re: Cannot Launch EMail Client after Update

this happens to me quite often, too. I seem to have to wait until I get the flashing message arrived icon, then I can launch it. I'd like to understand this better, too.

Re: Igo Stowaway keyboard "connection failed..."

Re: Palm user: is it time to move to the Nxxx?

This has been a good thread. It captures the tension between all these devices I lug around, too. My contribution to the discussion concerns the battery life of the N800 versus any of the Palm's I've...
