Yes, on Palm you can do it as well. There is OnBoardC suite, quite nice thing. I know one brave guy who developed several full-fledged strategy games with it.

Scratchbox: where is dbus-arch-deps.h?

Hi All!

How can one find dbus-arch-deps.h in the scratchbox? I found that in my installation under SDK_PC profile it sits only in /targets/SDK_PC/usr/lib/dbus-1.0/include/dbus and is not symlinked...

I know 3 ways:

1)maemo.org and then Downloads, search there.
2)maemo.org and then Repositories, select your ITOS version.
3)Ask google: software_name maemo

Sorry for the stupid question :-) but does the internet connection works flawlessly, you're sure? Sounds a bit like a magic that correct repositories in the list can't be updated.

That means you did a typo somewhere or some of the repository servers are temporarily unavailable. Try to disable them one by one, when you disable the problematic repo, update will be finished...

AFAIK there is no ported wxPython package for Maemo. One writes it is not too difficult to compile it but the interface should be hildonized..., and no news since that. It is not an easy thing to run...

Fantastic! Magic Alt-Ctrl really make the keyboard work again although the keystroke specified in the title bar is Ctrl-Shift (it doesn't help by the way). Thank you, tabletrat!

No, you shouldn't try to run .py file from python interpreter. You should just type "python lybniz/lybniz.py" in the command prompt:
$ python lybniz/lybniz.py
and press Enter.

Try to specify full path to test.py. If test.py is in your current folder, prepend ./ to it name.

Hello shortkid1101,

if you are familiar with xterm and happy to use it, you can just type there "python filename.py".
Also you can do "chmod u+x filename.py" to make your python file directly...

Never did this by myself on Nokia but on the desktop there must be a mkswap command before any swapon - i.e. one should create a swap filesystem:
mkswap /dev/mmcblk0p3
