Re: Nokia Support confirms "issues" with 2.1 update

Nokia Support confirms "issues" with 2.1 update

Apparently my complaints about repositories being down were unfounded. It now appears to me that the problems with updating have to do with the kernel upgrade.

I have just been in contact with...

gconftool --recursive-unset /apps/gizmo

That did it, but I still can't get Gizmo to reliably complete a call. Maybe there's too much traffic because of New Year.

I would also be interested to know if other OSes can run. DOS, for example, in a qemu container? By the way, I recall Win98 running acceptably in 16M of RAM on 220MHz PCs. There are at least a couple...

Maemochron: buttons on screen to start/stop/split

Beautiful app, but buttons on the screen (maybe hardware buttons?) would make it much easier than having to use the menu options.

Very easy on old eyes. Kudos to the developers.

Once maps are downloaded, how do you zoom in?

I have directory levels at 10, 13, 15 and 16. I have checked and there are valid images in these files. How do I zoom to level 10 from the GUI?
Thanks!
