Podcast bliss continues to elude me. Any Ideas?

I'd hoped Canola2 would be the answer to my podcast prayers. Sadly, this doesn't appear to be the case.

I've been looking for an N800 podcast client which will allow me to schedule downloads for...

Re: mplayer_1.0rc1-maemo.21

@WFT:

The N800 has two SD Card slots. One is hidden underneath the kickstand and referred to as external. The other is accessed by removing the battery cover and is the internal memory card...

Re: MediaBox Media Center V 0.90

whoops, scratch that. I didn't realize there are two underscores on either side of 'init'.

So, v0.90.1 didn't fix the gconf error for me, but the workaround helped.

Also, I've got no sound when...

Re: MediaBox Media Center V 0.90

I'm getting the same behavior:

"ImportError: No module named gnome.gconf"

I went so far as purge v0.90 before installing 0.90.1. The _init_.py workaround didn't help. Any ideas?

thanks

Whoa, chill out. He said he'll have a look tomorrow.

konttori has been nothing if not extremely responsive. Let's not leave a bad taste in his mouth.

Anyone using the Adapt AD800 bluetooth receiver??

I've had nothing but issues with mine when paired with my N800. It works great with gpsdrive and also my blackberry pearl.

Anyone else have any experience with this receiver?

thanks

Re: Bluetooth problems ?

In a move of pure desperation, I flashed the n800 today and did not restore my backup this time. No change.

When my wife and I were in PR recently, she commented that the freeze-ups seemed to...

Re: Bluetooth problems ?

Am I only supposed to have /dev/rfcomm0 while MM is running? If I use rfcomm0 instead of scanning for bluetooth devices, will MM create the device node itself?

I've just run 'cat /dev/rfcomm0'. I...

Re: UKMP 1.4 and UKTUBE 0.6 out

I believe Uhro is on vacation, so I'll point out that he comments on this issue in one of the demo videos in the Uktube 0.6 release announcement. Specifically, Uhro stated that you cannot stop the...

Re: UKMP 1.4 and UKTUBE 0.6 out

I started playing with Maemo Mapper yesterday and found a reference to POI in the Settings. It points at a file called poi.db in my N800's filesystem.

Through googling I found that this likely...

Re: UKMP 1.4 and UKTUBE 0.6 out

Awesome news...thanks for such great apps, konttori!

I only wish more developers (and by developers, I mean Nokia) communicated as often and as clearly as you have.

Have a great vacation!

Re: File called Skype UI is in showing in my application manager

From what I can tell, while parts of the ui are installable, the actual application isn't. I think we need to wait for the new firmware.
