Removing the battery does not reset the N810 to its factory state, no saved files will be lost. Only if you were to remove the battery without first using the Switch Off! function would you lose...

To test, I just paired my N810 (OS2008, Chinook) with my wife's Centro. If you had previously paired the tablet with the Centro, I would delete the existing profile from both devices and start fresh....

Are you attempting to pair to use the Centro as a modem (i.e. DUN, dialup networking) -OR- are you attempting to pair to transfer files?

MiniSD is the correct size. Either of yours should fit perfectly in the slot which is in the upper half of the opening. Are you certain there is not already a dummy card in the slot?
