OK... thanks for clearing it up.
I've installed the new package. I think the solution is quite functional. With fullscreen button, long press menu as well as Ctrl+M I think it misses nothing...

Well, actually not being a programmer, I'm not fully aware of the limitations of GTK+...
But I feel deciding to keep the scroll bar puts limitations on what we can do.

Hello!

I spent some time looking at some apps & how they implement full screen.
The important thing i think is that most hildon applications do not implement a scroll bar in the main display...

No button here either...

Another option might be to use double tap to toggle fullscreen... that would be simple and intuitive.
Though I'm not a programmer so I don't know how easy or difficult it...

The problem is, in fullscreen mode, zim has a scrollbar button taking up the bottom right corner.:.
I think it might be a good idea to have a button on the toolbar to toogle fullscreen...

Yes, no hardware button for fullscreen or menu.
N900 has a fullscreen button on the lower right of the screen. It disappears if u don't touch the screen for a few seconds, then reappears on touching...

Thanks for the reply.
The problem I'm facing is that once I get into fullscreen mode, the fullscreen button disappears, and so does the menu. Tapping on the lower right corner does...

Just installed it using 'dpkg -i' after it failed with app manager.

On first impression it seems very usable and practical.
I think I'll be using it as my default app for notes... :-)
