Re: Chrome OS
I think any game where up/down keys are important would use WASD, or you should use a gamepad. Why settle for using direction keys that are on the right side of the keyboard?

Re: The new Archos fleet is about to launch
In the engadget comments it says you can search for a one-click install market4archos.apk file. Would that be the same thing?
And now you can dual-boot an Archos? When MeeGo is ready would it be...

Re: Nintendo declares war on Apple
imo the only place where Apple is legitimate competition is price, because console games --including handheld games-- are overpriced (there are way too many games that shouldn't be over $20). In...

Re: Whatever Apple touch, it turns gold
I wonder if the marketing trick is they leave out something popular, and then add it in an update at the end, so that users can't complain.
For example, can't complain about iPhone not having...

Re: HP Slate
I'd like buttons, but why wouldn't simply holding down longer work for right-click?

Re: Play Station Portable
There's actually a rumour this month that Sony is making a PSP phone:

Anyway, if there's stuff on the PSP you really want that you can't get...

Re: 2010: Year of the Tablet
Mentioned weight because everything you're referring to is at least 3.5 pounds, which gets bad reviews nowadays. And why would anyone pay over $1000 when netbooks are going for $200? Adding a...

Re: 2010: Year of the Tablet
Those were fine. But overkill, they're still over $1000. The keyboard is good, but some people would rather use USB or Bluetooth or on-screen. They're too heavy for some people. Don't know if...

Re: 2010: Year of the Tablet
The same as a smaller tablet, except the screen is bigger. Personally, anything more than cell phone calls or simple games are overkill in a pocket-size device for me. Would rather have everything...

Re: This Will Be Bad for MaemoMapper
Isn't using non-voice gps *worse* than using a cell phone? You don't know where you are, where you're going, and you're looking at a tablet instead of the road.

Re: Cryptic Nokia Ad.. What does it all mean?
Here's their old TED commercial in case anyone missed it and wanted to see it:

It's a much more traditional one for N-Series "4th screen" though

Re: "Newbie" forum?
This maemo.org subforum could probably use a sticky, and if there are going to be more changes that would be a good place for a changelog and list of links to more change discussions?
