Shutdown tablet, remove battery, wait 1-2 minutes, plug it battery, then try again, in outside open space.

Maemo vs Nokia Map GPS startup

Hi,

New owner here. I just found this problem with the Maemo map with the build in GPS. From a cold boot, the Maemo took about 15 minutes to get a lock on the gps. I shut it down, turned it back...
