Re: New port: gweled (OS2008)

Yes, it was 0.3 - I installed the lib and gweled for the first time. I tried reproducing it, but I was not "successful" ;-) Sometimes it happens during normal gameplay, sometimes when I get a bonus...

Re: Your help needed in improving N810 GPS performance

I know it is a big step but flashing to the newest OS 2008 (there was a more or less silent update, at least I didn't notice there was a new firmware) fixed all issues. I get fix in under 40s under...

Re: The Kismet Thread

I don't know if it is any help, but talking to the gps in python is incredibly easy... but then again a python script would have to supply the information... or it might "fake" a GPSD at another...

Re: Python GPS

Ok, the gpsbt python module is not-so-very-well documented...
calling gpsbt.gps().get_fix() also fills in the data about satellites and used satellites.
You have to call get_fix() every time you...

Re: The Kismet Thread

I'm glad it worked for you - Kismet is a wonderful piece of software and the support on the ITs is actually quite good... if only the wireless driver would report a signal quality ;-)

Hmm sadly I can't say what the reason is - and I only have experience with the n810.
The first evil line here is the

The strange thing is that the xterm application...

Hi,

actually, if you are in red pill mode clicking the .deb-file in the file manage should fire up the application manager.
if you want to install it via the command-line become root and do a...

Re: Python GPS

For the moment I fear the only thing we can do is to check whether the gps reports a fix (I assume that only the n810 built-in gps doesn't report the fix but a bluetooth gps should report it); so you...

Re: The Kismet Thread

I think I remember someone saying that the driver doesn't report the signal strength; airodump shows -1 as PWR, too. On the other hand, iwlist scanning wlan0 shows signal strength values - maybe this...
