Help! my n900 has boot loop and it doesn't has usb port
 

Hi, I'm having the boot loop problem with my n900. I read that it can be fixed flashing the device but my cellphone doesn't has the usb port, today I took it to a technician and he told me that this piece can not be replaced because it is oxidized on the plate so I can't´fixed the boot loop problem,
how can I fix it? can I connect the usb cable directly on the plate ?
please help me!! :confused: :confused:

I'd imagine that even if PCB traces are so badly oxidized that you cannot solder the USB socket pins to it you should still be able to solder a short length of wrapwire to the socket pin and find a PCB via to solder the other end of the wire to.
That should even be better than the original socket connection :)
