Inferno OS for n770, n800 and n810

I remember reading about this a long time ago ...
I read someone got it running on the 770 n800 and n810 and it worked fine.
a couple of minor (...nothing that is a deal breaker IMO ...and I think fixable) issues...otherwise the few who mention it have said it worked well.
managed to track down the goods.
Wouldn't mind more documentation though...
:D

Interestingly Inferno runs on the Neo FreeRunner too.

I think if there were enough brains pointed at it we could probably get it running smoothly and properly in no time.

I've messed with inferno but not on a nxx0..
gotta love it ...
so plan-9 -ish :D

They are definitely fun.
And like so much out there..
(hm..actually I gotta admit that with the state of devices and platforms currently..sure they are fast and slick and pretty...but that's about it.)
correction..Like so few things out there now...you get what you put into it or better...with the nxx0 I can't say I've been disappointed.
I'm not sugar-coating it either...Sure the n8x0 are a little slower (understandably if compared to a pentium 2) and there are limitations to them. But I think that is part of it that is attractive..how to work with/ get around said challenges.
And compared to devices from 2007-2008 ...How many devices from even a few years ago still have software that works?
Programs still being written (albeit it ain't a daily thing here but that can change :D) for them?
A functioning community even?
Can run in part or whole other de's, wm's, and os's?
Is open enough to mess around in?
all that and more that I know I'm forgetting.
So yeah...they are alot of fun.
If you get one ...welcome to the club :D
