[Announce] Add "Connect to Internet" button on Lockscreen Pulley menu

Always wanted to have the easy "Connect to Internet" button, like the one on the N900 and N9/N950?
Tired of going all those menus, just to switch to a different network?

No need to wait anymore!

With this simple tool, you can add the "Connect to Internet" button to the Pulley menu in your Lockscreen!

Download and Install from Openrepos or Warehouse:

FAQ:
  • I've installed it, but I still don't have this damn option!?
After you've installed this, go to the "Settings > System > Shortcuts" and add "Connect to Internet" to the shortcut list.
That's all!
-
  • I don't have the "Shortcuts" menu in my Settings?
Be sure that you're at least running on firmware 1.0.7.16 or above!
-
  • What should I do with the beautiful icon on my homescreen?
Well, it's up to you, you may hide the (beautiful) icon that is on your homescreen into a folder.
-
  • I can't connect to my WiFi.
Not my problem. Go ask your parents.

Have fun!

Nice now I don't have to leave settings open. Any chance you could do the same for Bluetooth?

The idea of adding wifi, Bluetooth toggles, etc. to notification view is the most natural way to do

You could install the SailfishOS Patches (Formerly known as Pandora), you can add toggles to the Event View screen. So you can disable your network connection at the Event View screen. (The screen where you swipe up from the bottom of the screen)

When you select "Connect to Internet" again, you can just select the Connection you want, even if the toggles are disabled.

I know it's a workaround, but it does work :)

Download Sailfish OS Patches: https://openrepos.net/content/sfietk...tches-advanced

Remember that toggles does not let you switch between connections ;)

Why hasn't this app made its way to Jolla store?

I also need to connect to Bluetooth very often to pair my Bluetooth speaker with my Jolla:)
