"When Patents Attack" on NPR's This American LIfe
 

Worth listening to. This American Life is a great show. And this one spends the whole hour on patent trolls and the use of patents (specifically by Intellectual Ventures) as a Mafia-style protection racket. If you're in the US, it's likely on your local NPR station sometime this weekend. Otherwise, it will be available streaming from the archive in the next week.
