[Announce] Quick Launch
Hello,
I've just released a working version of quick-launch (0.3). Quick Launch is brainstorm implementation : http://http://maemo.org/community/br...tatusbar_menu/ It's basically a statusbar item that shows four buttons each of which can be configured through a control panel applet to set a shortcut to your preferred applications. It's on extras-testing now : http://maemo.org/packages/package_in...ck-launch/0.3/ Screenshot: http://i.imagehost.org/0704/screenshot19.png LATEST UPDATE: latest version is 1.1 Screenshot (1.1) : http://img685.imageshack.us/img685/8...enshot13aq.png Test&Vote ;) Best Regards, Daniele Maio. |

Re: [Announce] Quick Launch
In every Symbian device I wanted an option to make a shortcut to the "more" or "installed" app. folder or view. Can you make this possible?

Re: [Announce] Quick Launch
If a launched app already has a window open in the background, the menu remains open on top of the app.
To reproduce: 1. Choose web browser as one of the quick launch shortcuts 2. Open a web browser window (doesn't matter how) if not already open 3. Go back to desktop leaving the browser window open 4. Launch web browser using the quick launch icon Expected outcome: Web browser window gets focused, menu closes Actual outcome: Browser is brought forward but the menu remains open on top of the window Web browser is just an example, seems to happen with other apps too. Edit: The behavior is a bit application dependent; when launching Xterm, absolutely nothing happens if a window is already open. |
