maemo.org - Talk - Anyone have any experience with Easy?

I just discovered Easy. It looks like the perfect API for a project I've been working on. But I'm having a hard time getting started with it. I'd like to run a couple of the example scripts, but I continue to get the following error in x-term.

I installed from the website with the one click greeen arrow. Everything seemed to work fine. Is anyone familiar with Easy? Can anyone tell me what the problem is?
