FBReader - CHM ebook not recognised
 

Hi,

I have recently installed FBReader on my 770 (looks like a great app). I have a number of ebooks as CHM format. I put one on my memory card for use with the reader.

Trying to add it to the library I was able to navigate to the file through FBReader but on selecting it and hitting ok nothing happened. It did not display and was not shown in the library. I tried this a number of times but nothing seem to work. Can anyone help?

Hi

Can you share the book? The scenario you describe suggests that there's something 'wrong' with the book. Previous experience shows that sometime certain areas of a format are not very well specified, as result FBReader chokes on some files. (You can send it privately to me and I'll delete it after the investigation.)

One more question. You said that you have a few CHM books, do you observe this behaviour for all (or at least many) of them?
