Alpha5: headset/headphone problem solution

headphone problem solved
nitdroid forum Thread [http://forum.nitdroid.com/index.php?...g8383#msg8383]

''Hi,
Work on recent Android versions (KitKat or at least 4.2.2) is not going fast due to huge amount of issues.
I know that headset/headphones problem in alpha5 pushes many of us to have 2 versions of NITDroid installed on our devices.

So, I tried to take a look on this annoying problem and make kind of `hotfix` to work around it.
Apparently, fix is quite simple:

download file attached and put it on the device:
CODE:
adb push audio_policy.conf /system/etc/
adb shell chmod 644 /system/etc/audio_policy.conf

Update:
Conducted tests show that:
- skype
- google voice search
- soundhound

...are working now.

Wow, it's really far more than I expected before)''

Sucks. KitKat is NitDroid's only hope of becoming a working OS for the N9. Until it's ported, Harmattan(a dead OS), seems to be the only working thing since SFOS is still under heavy development.
