[Proposal pending] Overlay icons for task-switcher items
 

ya know when ou go to your page of open windows and there are like 12 pages open, and you have to look real hard at all of them to find the window you want? how about an application that overlays these windows with icons (like the email notifications does for example). except it would be somewhat user selectable icons, big '@' for email, globes for WWW, etc, etc. even using the default desktop icons for the apps would be better than it is now

That sounds like a good idea, a bit like Vista does in Alt+Tab.
