Phone brick (?)
hi everyone, while i was flashing my device i interrupted the flashing with SIGTERM sent by C-c (i know, i was stupid).
i tried reflashing it with the same options but now i get always this http://i.imgur.com/UFDCKLd.png can anyone help me? is this recoverable? (i hope yes ;_; ) |
Re: Phone brick (?)
Why cancel a flashing process?
Never ran into such situation but read here on forum that this can be due to bad download (md5sum) or even broken HW. |

First case is easy to solve. Just check md5sum on mrcrab.net (or let us know about exact file name). In second case I am sorry to say does not look good. Iirc I already provided the cold flash trick (add parameter -c) and that did not work out. Same about zeroizing. So let's hope for first case.. |
Re: Phone brick (?)
i suddenly realized that i were flashing the wrong kernel and in a moment of panic i SIGTERM-ed the process.
anyway, fixing was easy: i rebooted and powered off the device, then i reflashed. it works now (the firmware and emmc files were the right ones, i've used them a lot of times, and the md5sum is fine. it was my fault because i shouldn't have stopped the flash) |
