thanks for the app. Just llistening to my podcast library. In the settings there are options to remote control via Bluetooth headsets. I'm listening through an LG BT-Headset with a start/Stop- button, call-button, skip forward/-backward button and of course vol+/-. Actually my phone is a JollaC, as far as I remember there was some regression with the new Bluetooth driver on the JollaC Do you have any hint? Sent from my Jolla C using Tapatalk |

Re: [WIP] Talefish, directory based audiobook player
I can confirm the regression on JollaC from ijoki to kymijoki, while it continues to work on the Jolla 1.
It has been suggested to downgrade bluez5 to bluez4. For me that did the trick, but your mileage may vary: Code:
devel-su I did restart the phone after that just to be sure. cheers! |
Re: [WIP] Talefish, directory based audiobook player
Hi folks!
0.0-11 is out on openrepos! Changes: - allow opening of .mka (thanks rrunner64!) - enhancement: SF3 light ambience button colour fixes + cassette shade - performance: huge performance increase while opening lots of files (when mediainfo is installed) - enhancement: minor layout changes - enhancement: haptic feedback when swiping "cover area" to change tracks I highly recommend to install mediainfo from openrepos – opening ~100 .mp3 files took about 12s instead of >60 with this version cheers! |
Re: [WIP] Talefish, directory based audiobook player
hi is there a option to sort titles with a m3u File?

Either way, opening playlists is not supported. I am not against that feature, I just don't have the time to do it right. For example, IIRC there are dialects of m3u, also there could be streams in there which would be painful to manage in the rest of the application… and the list goes on. If anyone is able to do this: PRs are very welcome. ;) |
Re: [WIP] Talefish, directory based audiobook player
Yes i mean , open m3u to sort the mp3s
because i have uploaded a audiobook to my jolla. the mp3s are in the wrong order. the stock media player from jolla shows the right order ;) |
Re: [WIP] Talefish, directory based audiobook player
If the problem is that file names don't have leading zeroes (so track 10 will follow track 1 etc), you can try looking for natural sorting in the preferences.
You could also try changing the order to file date or type, but that's mostly a by-product of finding single files (to open them alone) more easily in the file selector. Oh, yeah, if all else fails, you can enable 'enqueue' in settings and load files one by one. The stock media player does not have much in common with how Talefish works. cheers! |
Re: [WIP] Talefish, directory based audiobook player
Hi all,
0.0-12 is out on openrepos! Basically one new feature, one layout change from the previous release improved and a whole lot of languages I neglected to sync from transifex before. Changes: - enhancement: headset "call accept button" now keeps triggering long press action until released - bugfix: hide empty total progress area with only one track loaded - new translations: hu (thanks leoka), nl_BE (thanks pljmn), sl (thanks sponka), zh_CN (thanks rui kon) cheers! |
