An OS overlooked.
 

Pardon my intro , before I get to the meat of what I wanted to mention.

I used it for a while,
when I was still skulking in the shadows years before I joined talk Maemo..
And since then... it has just been one of those things one takes for granted..
and so also figured everyone else knew about it...
and considering my attention was more on my n800/n810 at the time...and the excitement around the neo just happening...
It was forgotten..
aptly put...
"like a Ring in a stream"
from some story or other..
haha

And it wasn't until I went digging through my dusty caverns of my storage vault just yesterday ...that I found it again...

and I thought I would find an applicable thread to post in concerning it.
And searching here...there was none.
No mention anywhere I can find (or the search engine is getting worse and falling apart...)

And so realized ...that possibly...few if any ever even heard of it....

I remember reading this article back in the day and discovering that the lead developer of Smeegol was someone I used to work with. He was known as "Shrek" due to similarities in appearance. It seems he was a fan of the N900.
