Configuring CalDAV on N9

I used to use https://www.google.com/calendar/dav/ as described here:
http://wiki.meego.com/Migrating_from...ogle_Calendars

However this endpoint does not let to download events after certain date (01/12/2013 or close to it).

I googled this: https://developers.google.com/google...e#new_endpoint

It says "The endpoint https://www.google.com/calendar/dav is deprecated and no longer supported, use it at your own risk. Please make sure you transition to the new endpoint. "

Ok, fine, I do all the steps including Google Cloud services and everything such as:
1. create a "project"
2. enable CalDAV API and "Calendar API"
3. register app - this is tricky - I do not really know how as I do not have the meego calendar app ID so I added something "native" and "web", neither works.
4. tried adding a new CalDAV account on my N9, this is the URL: https://apidata.googleusercontent.co...gmail.com/user
On "sign in", the phone responds with "wrong username or password".

It says I need a Client ID but does not say what I do with it once it is created. Put into the phone? No clue.

So what is wrong with the setup? Has anyone succeded with this? Thanks.

Re: Configuring CalDAV on N9

I've stumbled over this today, as I noticed my Calender wasn't in sync anymore.

They changed CalDav authentification to OAuth (see https://blog.mozilla.org/calendar/20...dav-calendars/) which I think doesn't with CalDav on our N9 :(

Any ideas anyone?

Re: Configuring CalDAV on N9

I had recently difficulties to re-add severals caldav sync I have. At the end, I could do it but with some workarounds (it is from my memory so maybe not very detailled):
- i have one caldav per calendar (it used to work differently in the past but i could not have it working anymore with several calendars with one sync)
- my main calendar I use mfe
- for the other calendars i am entering the complete address of the google calendar I found in the website: something like:
44gfd5454gds54545g4f@group.calendar.google.com

thanks, you make my day!!!!!!

the exact syntax is:

https://www.google.com/calendar/dav/...gle.com/events

where xxxxx...is the calendar ID given by google (parameters/calendar) for each calendar you have.

This is the only way it still works for me now.

Login with google user and password gives:
Google Kalender
Programmet er ikke tilgængeligt i øjeblikket.
(Translated: Google Calendar, The program is not accessible at the moment)

where to find calendar ID xxxx...? For me it's my mail address and not numbers etc as shown above P@t.

For google calendar use https://www.google.com/calendar/dav/emailaddress/ as server URL (replace emailaddress ofc). This will show all calendars of your google account. You can hide individual calendars in the calendar app.

Re: Configuring CalDAV on N9

kind of related. My N9 hadnt synced with the Google Calendar in quite a while. Before it worked great. But lately I would have to go and delete it on my N9, then re-add it.

Yesterday I added some events to my Google Calendar from my work computer. then something magical happened. My N9 synced, and the new events were on there. Pretty awesome
