flashing the 770 and installing OS2008
 

hello
I have 2 questions. a few months ago I saw that the maximum card available for nokia 770 was 1gb.
I see some newer cards of 2gb available. Can I use a 2gb with my nokia 770? will it work normally?

Also a few months ago I saw there were some instructions to install OS 2008 on memory card instead of the internal memory of the 770
where can I find those instructions?

Yes, you can use the 2GB cards. They work as is.
There are even threads here on how to use larger cards, but those require some hardware modifications. I went from a 2GB standard card to a 4GB SDHC (which I had to cut up to fit. But the 2 GB cards work fine. There is (was) someone on here selling a premodified 8GB card for the 770.

I've seen the threads on flashing to the memory card, but not sure where they are off hand.
