Nokia Moonraker Prototype Device

1 Attachment(s)
Hello,

I have a Nokia Moonraker prototype watch.

I don't know how it work. I can't connect my wp device because the Bluetooth is disable on watch.

Never released in the Market. Piece of history... I have never seen one like that.

Where can i download the moonraker q application to test the watch with my windows phone? Anybody have an idea?

Thank you

Re: Nokia Moonraker Prototype Device

I would have responded if I could find anything ..
A serious hunt pulled up zero from me...
I think you will be hard pressed to find much of anything for any device which never saw the light of day....

Best suggestion is to hunt down members of the crew who actually designed and worked on this project..
Bet one of them at least has sound advice and instruction for you...
if not some stuff tucked away which would be of great value to you...
There MUST be stuff tucked away somewhere ...within reach... for this gem of a device..,

Best I can suggest...

Re: Nokia Moonraker Prototype Device

Pretty sparse info...
the video and write up was interesting but hardly informative...
too bad about the limited functionality of the watch..
but it was yet to be released...
so I would imagine ..had it been released ..more functions would have become available over time...

Yet again I suggest tracking down those who worked on the Moonraker...
they will have a great deal more that would be helpful for your predicament...

The only other thing I can suggest is...
Have you ever used any nokia BT peripherals before?
look at all other nokia BT peripherals ...
they seem to follow a standard method for pairing ..
perhaps they did not deviate from their norm.
Best I can personally suggest...

Mad, Nokia saw they future, spent billions on developing all these concept tablet, PC, wearable devices, but yet shipped nothing.

A real tragedy.

Well, to create something worthwhile you need to cultivate an environment where people can freely express a lot of ideas that don't really ever fly from the nest.
It's like studying & writing thesis but in a grander scale.

And I can assure you there have been concept stage things you have not dared to imagine...

The watch is pretty cool. But personally, I hate wearing them.

Total opposite here. I love watches. I do think that's pretty cool. And I love wearing watches.

I just hate the fact that smart watches just do not last like their analog counterparts. I have watches that are 20+ years old in my collection.

Total shot in the dark, but, try and see if Evan Blass (@evleaks) can point you to the right direction.

Are you interested by any chance in selling it? I think I may be able to make it work.

I own a Lumia prototype that has the Moonraker app preinstalled.

How can I contact you to discuss pricing? I'm not able to send private messages it seems.
