WTS Palm Pre 2
 
I have a Palm Pre 2 for sale. Looks like new. Bought it last month to try out WebOS again.
Is only the phone.

The phone has no problems at all. Works really well. I Bought it to try out webOS after such a long time again.

I came across this quote on one eBay item description (slightly different model, without "2").

What does that mean? Are they trying to say that these devices do not work autonomously, without the mothership support?

If your webOS phone has never been activated before, it has to be activated through a hack. You can find method on webosnation. But if it has been used before, it has already been activated and will work without the mothership. Atleast this is true for Pre 2 and Pre 3.

Mine has been activated and has been used before. I tried myself with my SIM and made phonecalls with it.

Nope just curious, my dad has an HP touchpad he doesn't use any more and I was tempted to try it out, didn't find the time in the end though.

Yes, the problem is physical dimensions of the connector, I simply cannot stick other ones in Touchstone narrow socket :/

Unfortunately, the only old Palm/HP HW that runs LuneOS is Touchpad. Phones are not supported nor there is any intent to do it -- for what I know, due to hardware constraints.
