Can you help me?

My N810 is acting very bugging and I can't find out the cause, I'd like to just do a total reinstall, and apparently thats called a reflash. Can someone explain what I need to do in order to make that happen?

Re: Can you help me?

Answer: I am definitely the guy you want to talk to...
and ..
No I won't answer...
not in a vaguely worded "help me" thread posted in the "general" sub forum

Option 1 - Go to the applicable sub forums.
Option 2 - Use the search function and type in it keywords that apply to your query.

Do NOT post "Please help me" posts.

Such thread titles help no one.

I and many others here keep telling people.

use the search option to find threads that ALREADY exist concerning your issue.
If your issue doesn't have a thread for it already...
then post your query in a new thread in the sub forum it applies to.
(and I know there are Dozens of existing threads about this exact topic. So find them and post inside the thread that seems appropriate to your issue.)

search queries, and thread titles should include the basic nature of the problem, the device, the os, any bloody thing relating to the issue.
ie: "n810, reflashing, perfect setup, how to reflash n810"
be creative. figure out the basics of navigating here.

General "help me posts" like this...
I will not help with.

Post properly please.

There were a lot of
help
need for help
help me a program
please help
posts in this forum the last days (and have been before).

https://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=100405

As the title says someone needs help but he does not tell the keywords in the title.
Most often these things have already been answered but find-help on opening a new thread cannot help because lacking the keywords.
Please see output of search function with key words 'please help me' attached as screenshot.

Furthermore read following link:

As well as all the other tips and comments how to post a question/thread in the above linked help threads!

And of course even here in this forum you may read up how to post accordingly

Re: Can you help me?

I think we need the mods to delete all these rogue vague "help me" posts...

and I think we need a button on every page ...on the right side column ...ABOVE the "help keep the lights on " donation button...
with "READ THIS FIRST BEFORE POSTING ANYTHING" button...
which navigates to a page showing the ways to get the best help and answers ...

A small sticky isn't doing anything...

And by the way Yoona...
I am the guy you want to talk with...
well...one of the last of the guys here who knows the n800 and n810...
that is still kicking around the forum on a daily basis...
and I know plenty about how to get the most out of your device...

So just find the n810 sub forum or maemo 4 (Diablo) sub forum in the main page of Talk Maemo here...
and type in a search for flashing the n810.... or ..How to flash n810...or...reflashing n810....or n810 reflashing firmware...
Be creative with keywords...
find a thread that seems to be the topic...
read up...
or look through the wiki...
and if you have questions or are confused...
post in the thread where that topic is discussed.
I will keep my eyes and ears open...
and if you post in an existing thread on the topic...(and there are many on reflashing the n810...)
I will be sure to give you a hand.
