Trouble with Chinese input on SailfishOS

Maybe I just don't know how. But I enabled the IME in the settings and selected it.

The keyboard is indeed a Chinese one, has the signs "符号" in the left corner but all it inputs is Latin characters. I selected the 中文 (拼音) keyboard.

How do I make it suggest me any Chinese characters?

Besides, the stroke keyboard - 中文 (手写简) doesn't work for me at all. It simply doesn't change the keyboard at all.

I'm using a ported device (OnePlus 3) - maybe I need to install some extra packages?

Checked on my Jolla 1 and every chinese keyboard is working.
Check if you have installed:
1. jolla-keyboard-hwr
2. jolla-keyboard-layout-chinese
3. all-translations-pack

All of them are installed.
Code:

zypper in jolla-keyboard-hwr jolla-keyboard-layout-chinese all-translations-pack

Re: Trouble with Chinese input on SailfishOS

/usr/share/maliit/plugins/com/jolla/HwrLayout.qml belongs to the package jolla-keyboard (not jolla-keyboard-hwr).

Re: Trouble with Chinese input on SailfishOS

Sorry, it is of course asking for "com.jolla.hwr".

Re: Trouble with Chinese input on SailfishOS

com.jolla.hwr should be provided by jolla-handwriting.
